Running a BMX shop is as interesting as it gets. You have to be on your toes and ready for each and every question and situation. This is impossible though. This past weekend a kid who appeared to be 15-16 bought a mid range complete bike from Mr. B’s. He paid cash and was asked if he saved up to get it. He was so excited…bought it and left. Long story short he stole the money from his grandmas purse. The mom found out and lost it on him and us. Wanted to return a bike that had stickers all over it, yanked back and scratched bars and frame, beat up pedals and bar ends, and the tires had skids and worn marks. She said “how can you sell a bike to a kid?”. We do this daily. For a kid to be so excited to get a bike we were on his side. She wants us to screen people before they buy and have a system how we sell. Come on mam. The good: kid got a sweet bike and is so excited and wants to be a part of BMX. The bad: family has to teach him a lesson, understand stealing from family, trust, loyalty, shame, and most importantly live with a bike that each time he rides it knows he stole from his grandma and lied to his mom. -Chad D

Hey guys whats up! @mannienogueira here taking over the decobmx instagram page today! Stoked! ???????? Im going to keep the thyme set by @karlqpoynter and @ryantorrancebmx and post up what an average day for me would be like! First off is a healthy breakfast in the morning! A split second after image was made, Scott looped out & the bike smashed me in the face, cracking the lens hood & temporarily destroying the remote flash trigger that was on top of the camera.
