Word up guys. It’s @karlqpoynter here to takeover the DECO Instagram today. I could have went about this in a variety of ways, but I decided to keep things simple and real by giving you a look into what a weekday looks like with me.
Between BMX, paintball, freelance photography and graphic design, my everyday schedule is never the same. However, I typically start the day off with a simple breakfast, checking emails, and seeing if any orders have came in. I do a lot of design work with apparel. @pbnation is one of the companies I do that for. In addition to the designs, I also run and operate their online store. If several orders come in, I stuff them in a backpack and go. If it’s a slow day like today, I simply grab it and cruise to the post office with it in hand. I always make the trip on my bike. A perfect way to get loosened up and get the day rolling…literally.

No matter if I’m out doing errands, on a paintball trip, driving to shoot a wedding, or whatever else it may be, the hunt for new spots never stops. You never know what you’ll end up discovering. This tree from this evening is a prime example of that. –@karlqpoynter
Sometimes simple is all you need. Can-can foot plant as the sun sets at a concrete park I’ve been riding since the late 90s, which is also right beside a track I used to race at. –@karlqpoynter

Ryan Torrance here to take over the instagram today. As we watch clips/ videos for inspiration thru many different styles of riding.. I was personally inspired by @karlqpoynter to give you a little insight on what my life is like! My day starts off by waking up too early to even consider riding my bike… sadly but love what I do. I get to build some of the best sport fishing yachts on the water @yellowfinyachtsoffshore . My crew and I basically start with a shell of a 39′ and turn them into what you see in the picture.. all custom setups for each boat these things will even drive themselves! But even when I’m working all I can think about is what tricks and combos I can put together after work or on the weekends! I’ve been riding bikes for about 10 years… was always into the classic mid school tricks. About 6 months ago I was finally able to mess around with foam and resi and that’s too much fun! Once I “unlocked” so to say the upside down feeling it was game on.. I almost prefer trying to see if I can flip or flair just about anything I see anymore to see if it’s possible! NEW UPDATE: donations from this and in store at Mr. B’s plus fund raising from DecoBMX/Mr. B’s/ Billy Richardson and all of you has reached $2706.02 and thank you all. With materials, transportation, and some unforeseen costs total needed to be raised is $3900 so that puts us $1193.98 short. Materials have been ordered, construction starts within a week…and I will fly up there to rent a Uhaul to trek it back to Longwood where the final paint will be applied. Install is looking for the 3rd week of April…sorry for the delay but this is a process. Please share this…post it up…and help reach this goal. Thanks. -Chad D
